Little Artists

My two young daughters spread out paper and all their markers at the kitchen table.  After about twenty minutes of silence during their period of focused concentration, I got a little curious about what they might be up to.

When I asked them what they were doing, my three-year-old replied, “I’m scribbling.”

At the same time, my six-year-old responded, “I’m making something famous.”

That about sums up their individual ambitions at this age.  While my youngest just wants to experience the world, my oldest intends to conquer it.
