My nine-year-old daughter has always had a bit of an edge to her, but the things she says lately just crack me up.  Even though we live in the Midwest, she sometimes has a hint of Valley Girl in the way she talks.  Lately, her two favorite expressions are:

• “Seriously?”
• “I know… Right?”

Last night, she went to an indoor trampoline entertainment center with a friend.  They bounced, practiced gymnastics, and played games on the trampolines with other kids.  She told me this morning, “I totally owned this one boy at dodge ball!”
