Tis the season…  Merry Christmas to everyone out there in the blogosphere.  I hope you got everything that you wanted, ate good food, and spent the holiday exactly as you’d have liked.  If it’s not Christmas that you celebrate, then I hope you enjoyed whatever winter festivity that you do call your own.

I had a quiet holiday at home with my family.  My six-year-old daughter played elf, handing out gifts to everyone while hoarding her own to open last (including her stocking).  My three-year-old daughter, on the other hand, immediately opened everything with her name on it and wanted to play with it all right away.  We roasted a duck for dinner, and I received so many good books.  I’m hoping to spend the evening reading and eating Christmas cookies!
