And so it begins…
My six-year-old daughter announced at dinner that two boys in her first grade class have crushes on her.
“How do you know?” I asked.
“Because Isabella S. and Isabella K. told me so. Plus, they chase me all over the playground. It’s a good thing I can run so fast!”
My husband replied, “Yes, it is, and you just keep running, sweetheart.”
funny!
with s, there was a full courtship and plans for a wedding about 20 years hence in first grade. she was cute and sweet, but we left town on the last day of first grade. he has had zero interest in girls since. now in fifth grade, he has determined he wants to adopt as a single father and make the kids his personal slaves instead.
we shall see.

Kids are so funny. My preschool daughter is often the chaser, not the chased. This concerns me greatly. 🙂

Sounds like she’s an assertive girl who goes after what she wants. It’ll serve her well later in life. 😉
