In honor of Book Blogger Appreciation Week, I thought that I’d take this opportunity to mention some of the book review blogs that I myself frequent.  Here’s a short list of a few of the sites that I visit regularly.  Please feel free to check them out.

• My Other Car is a Tardis: The name is a reference to Dr. Who, and her blog is dedicated to her “family, but is also used as a soapbox, sounding board, artistic showcase and occasional venue to critique books, movies or anything else…”  Her sense of honesty, creativity, and raw sense of humor ring clear in every post.
• Bluestalking Reader:  This is the weblog of Lisa Guidarini, librarian by day, grad student by night, and avid book reviewer in her “spare time.”  Bluestalking features book reviews, author interviews, original photography, and humorous essays.
• Amber Stults:  She is a book reviewer and author with many entertaining reading recommendations to offer.  She also offers some great giveaways and posts updates on things happening in the book industry.  I’ve been reading her blog now for a while, and feel honored that she mentioned my blog in a recent interview.  Thanks Amber!
