The United States Mint and the War in the Pacific National Historical Park are hosting two events in Guam on May 2 and May 3, 2019 to celebrate the launch of the newest coin in the America the Beautiful Quarters series. The new quarter will feature an image of American military forces coming ashore at Asan Bay in an effort to liberate Guam from Japanese occupation during WWII.

At the event on May 3, rolls of quarters will be available for purchase at face value.  Children who attend the May 3 event will each receive a brand new War in the Pacific Guam quarter.  Both events are free and open to the public.
