I learned a couple of years ago that many of our neighbors flock to the Wisconsin Dells for family weekend getaways.  This is our second time here.  We got a two-bedroom suite at the Glacier Canyon Lodge (part of the Wilderness Resort), with a kitchen and a gas fireplace.  It’s a cozy little home away from home.

There are several different indoor water parks, arcades, a climbing maze play area, along with various restaurants and other activities.  It’s complete chaos, but the kids are having the time of their lives.  We’ve run into three other families from our neighborhood during our two days here, all with kids the same age as our two girls.  It’s like a playdate on steroids.  My husband and I are exhausted, but we enjoyed plenty of good quality family time.
