Though it’s not the first snow of the season, it is the first that has actually accumulated and stayed. There are approximately three inches on the ground right now. Though the roads were somewhat hazardous, I enjoyed my early morning drive along the white tree-lined streets while it was still drifting down in big chunky flakes. Of course, I’m sure I’ll be griping about it in a couple of months, but for now, it’s simply magical.
