One day, as I was driving to the store, my four-year-old daughter blindfolded herself in the backseat. She then started naming the color of each car that we passed.
I asked her, “How do you know the colors of the cars? Are you peeking?”
She responded, “No, I am sensing them with my mind.”
So she really is developing superpowers then?
I’m put in mind of my friend Dave, who, whenever he’d pulled off some seemingly impossible piece of fencing genius, would reply to the inevitable ‘how on earth did you do that?’ with ‘With the power of my MIND…’
