After touring around the North Island last April, we returned to Auckland to spend a couple more days with our friends.  We spent the day at the Auckland Zoo, just a few blocks from their house.  While their oldest son provided a very informed tour of the zoo to our oldest daughter, our younger kids ran around and played.  It was the first time my girls had ever seen a Tasmanian Devil.  He came up close and obligingly posed for pictures.
